conflict with someone in your family
I really don't have a conflict with no one in my family. I am pretty much a peacemaker so people won't often fight. We have our disagreements from time to time, but that's what family is all about. We are all there for each other til the end. We may have a little squabble one day, but the next day we are all back talking like nothing even happened.

role of guns
The role of guns in America is to protect the citizens. Law enforcement officers are the most common people who carry guns on themselves at all times. Citizens are allowed to have a gun, but they must have a gun permit for it to be legal Guns should only be used to protect people from criminal act or from criminal offenders. Guns should not be fired just for the fun of it because someone could seriously be injured. Guns somewhat make the world a better place, but at other times guns are misinterpreted and misused. Guns are to protect people.

Manning's story
In the story, Manning talks about his relationship with his father when he was growing up in his younger years. They never really talked like they should have. but everyone has their reasons. They had a physical relationship which was based on athleticism and strength. Manning says" He never read a card or letter written in his hand because he never wrote to him". The world we live in now, we all need to be close to our family because we may never know what might happen to them or who we may need in life. We must also learn to get along with one another for the better.

What i learned from peers
When I read Shawnise's blog, I learned many things about her. I learned that she had a thing for horror movies and her favorite one was "apartment 143". I never met someone who loves horror movies as much as she does. She also says that she never knew apartment 143 was a spanish movie and was created for english countries. I honestly didn't even know that myself. She makes it seem like the movie is very interesting so I plan on watching it soon.
As I was reading Sam's blog, I learned that he is a marketing major. He says marketing has always been fascinating to him because the way a producer markets its producer is what drives consumers to buy products. Marketing is a great major and producers use a great way to get me to buy many things. Marketing major makes pretty good money, and I hope he succeed.

quoting my peers
One my colleague posts talks about finding humor in a strange situation. http://eng1101clayton.blogspot.com/ Kenyada states " you can laugh your way out of any situation and even make a joke out of it. I can see Kenyada doing this because every time I see her, she is always laughing and smiling. Another one of my colleague posts is about their Wikipedia project.
http://english1101introduction.blogspot.com/ Corlis Wikipedia article is about nursing. Corlis says she has learned the details of the job. She also states that you must be able to recognize all body parts, and every chemical and medication that is used to cure patients. I think Corlis will be a good nurse in the near future.

what makes an effective introduction
An effective introduction should have facts and a good thesis statement. With a good thesis statement, we know what the overall message of the article is. Also a good introduction should have something catchy in it so it can immediately get the audience attention. Also the introduction tells us what your body paragraphs are going to be about. In a introduction, you should be a little specific and gives us some good details about what is going to happen.

men and women sterotypes
Men and women stereotype in many ways. For instance some men feel as if they tell the women what to do. Back in the old days, men told their wife, not to go to work and they just took care of the house. Women got tired of sitting at home and some wanted to go to work. Some men don't even want to work, instead they want to live off of their wives. Everyone in this world, men or women if they want to work, they should be allowed to work. We live in a free country and we should be able to do what we want to do. In this case, both men and women stereotypes are worse in this.

finding humor in strange situations
I am a goofy person so I am always laughing. Whenever something goes wrong in a situation, I always think of a song. Sometimes it relates to the situation, sometimes it doesn't. I just love laughing and having a good time.

how my wiki topic is broken down
My Wikipedia article is organized very neatly in a way. It gives you the definition, and breaks it down into the parts of the criminal justice system. It has policing, courts, corrections, and then talks about its history. I used the template you gave me because it's break it down into small pieces so I can better understand the material and the purpose of the assignment.
